Kevin Allen, President
A summer job became a full-time gig while at Boise State, eventually flourishing into a rewarding career for Kevin. He is a Certified Arborist (1998) & Professional Applicator (1995). He most enjoys relationships with client’s he’s known since he started in the business, as well as seeing new team members flourish into experienced professionals. He loves business, strategy, & especially spreadsheets. The rest of the team may tire of his pivot tables, but he never will. Kevin also loves giving back to the community, serving on the board of directors of the Rotary Club of Boise, including a year as president. He was recognized as Rotarian of the Year in 2017.
Jeff Hintze, General Manager
Joining our team in 1999, Jeff has coached hundreds of newcomers into talented landscape professionals. He is certified as a Landscape Technician, Arborist, & Professional Applicator. Jeff takes a personal interest in each person’s wellbeing & success. Whether it’s making breakfast burritos, sitting in a dunk tank at a company party, or just stopping to help a coworker in the field, Jeff infuses a culture of fun, hard work, & accountability into the company. Outside the office, Jeff spends time with his family, is active at church, & is often preparing for another Spartan race.
Dave Norlin, Construction Manager
Joining the Pro Care team in 2024, Dave has a long, impressive history in landscape construction. He served as a Residential Sales Manager for one of the largest companies in the West & ran his own business for a time. Now, he’s expanding our Construction Department.
Jenny Howard, Account Representative
Jenny joined Pro Care in 2021, serving in our Groundskeeping Department & quickly advancing to Crew Lead & Division Lead. Coworkers and customers love Jenny’s warm personality & strong work ethic. Outside of Pro Care, Jenny loves horses, even owning some of her own.
Cody Cline, Account Representative
Cody joined the Pro Care team in 2024. Cody brings a strong commitment to serving clients & delivering great results. He routinely visits sites, tends to details, recognizes greater needs, & maintains consistent communication with each client.
Rodger Erstad, Founder/Advisor
Rodger’s eye for detail, creative flair, & ability to make friends proved to be the right skills when launching Pro Care in 1987. Many of the customers who joined us then are STILL with us today, a testament to great service & strong relationships. Rodger is past president of the Idaho Nursery & Landscape Association. Now partly retired, Rodger chases the sun in Arizona in the winter & spends time on projects at his mountain property in the summer. He also checks in frequently & loves visiting his longest-term clients on their properties to talk all things landscaping. Rodger is a talented chef & wine connoisseur, sometimes donating dinners to charitable organizations & raising thousands of dollars on their behalf. He supports the Idaho Botanical Gardens & other causes in Boise.
