What You’ll Do
- Amend soil & install annual flowers
- Deadhead, pinch, train, water, & fertilize flowers
- Remove or spray weeds
- Blow off walkways, curbs, & hardscapes
What’s Required
Able to work in & among planter beds, which includes stooping, kneeling, & working with your hands. Attention to detail is a must. Ability to learn about flowers/plants & how to make them look their best. Willingness to safely & properly manage weeds & pests, which may include obtaining a Commercial Apprentice license. Some teams water flower planters in Downtown Boise, which requires a 5am start time to beat the traffic.
