Summer heat pushed your lawn to its limits. Fall is a great time to rejuvenate it with aeration & overseed. A core aerator removes plugs from the soil, about 3″ deep. This relieves compaction, improves water & fertilizer infiltration, & strengthens root development. For areas that have thinned in shade or heat, overseed to thicken the lawn. Fall is a great time for both tasks. Weather is favorable for germination & gives your lawn a a head start in spring.
